While earning a Bachelors Degree from of The University of South Carolina Cum Laude with a double major in Marketing and Management, Mark started running his business at the age of 18 having his own kitchenware distribution business with Cutco Cutlery. He set many records with the company as a rep and was promoted to District Manager where he became one of the “Top New Districts” in the Eastern Region as well as 1 of 11 Pillar Managers. After years of business growth, he then joined a start-up company, Second Nature Brands, Inc, and helped build and lead it to a $20+ million-dollar organization. From the start-up world, he then went to work for corporate America at PointCentral, an Alarm.com subsidiary. There he helped build a start-up division serving property manager/ REITs in enterprise home automation. He won performance awards there but his passion for entrepreneurship lead him back to running his own business and leading people to the “American Dream”. Mark believes that anyone can run their own business and control their destiny with the help of a good business model and experienced leaders and support.
